Finally, the City of Memphis and Memphis City Schools have come to an agreement (out of court) over who will fund the upcoming year's school districts. Yes, most certainly, this deserves a round of applause; but was anybody else shocked at the game of hot potato they played with the children of Memphis' education....But, now that's neither here nor there. I hope all have taken notes on what happens when you put your foot in your mouth and make threats...you end up paying the money out of pocket. - The school district will have to pay $57.5 million from its reserves to pay the city (for a previous debt)...in which the city will then donate the money back to Memphis City Schools.....hilarious..I know...read the CA or watch the news for more information. Now, the question of who is responsible for the funding in the future remains unresolved...stay tuned as the saga continues.
